Hello and thank you for your interest! This album was a blast to put together, made even more so by contributions of world-class artists Tamika Tyler, Carter Green, Kevin Kingston, and John Heinrich! For example..check out the prowess of Tamika's voice and Kevin's driving bass in the opening track "Thistle Town". Listen to the craftsmanship of Carter's lead guitar and John's sax in "Fightin' Me Lovin' You" and their playful back-and-forth. Too, I'd be remiss if I didn't tip-my-hat to the mastery of John's pedal-steel in "Point Me Home", and Carter's fiddle in "Old Shovel"....just wonderful stuff!
I think you'll find tracks that will make you laugh, possibly make you cry, and other's I hope will just make you want to get up and dance!
Regarding genre, I suppose the title may provide some clue, but I always have a difficult time describing my album's genre bucket(s), but for this one I'm going with Country-Rock-Americana...some leaning heavy to one side of that spectrum, some tilting the other direction, and some straight up the middle!
I'm extremely proud of this album...I hope you find some enjoyment while listening, and last...."THANK YOU" for your time and attention!
